Duck Gyozas


For the Gyozas:

20 Gyoza Wrappers

½ Pekin Duck, cooked

¼ cup Spring Onions, chopped

2 tbsp. Hoisin Sauce

1 tbsp. Sesame Oil

1 tsp. Grated Ginger

1 tsp. Grated Garlic

1 tbsp. Flour

To serve:

Sesame Seeds

Sweet and Sour Sauce

Hoisin Sauce

Green Onions


1. Combine Pekin duck, spring onions, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and flour in a bowl.

2. To form the gyozas fill each wrap with approximately 1 tbsp.of the filling, wet the rim of one of the sides of the circle and close it like a pocket and make 2 small folds at each side, making sure that they are fully sealed.

3. Bring a pot of water to a boil, prepare your Happy Home Story steamer with a paper liner, place it over a pot of boiling water and arrange the gyozas in the grids. Cook it for around 15 minutes or until they are soft.

4. Serve with sesame seeds, sweet and sour sauce, hoisin sauce and green onions.
