Indian-style Salmon (serves 2)


Ingredients:


2 Salmon fillets – 4 ozs each

Marinade:

  1. Juice of ½ a lime

  2. 2 teaspoons vegetable oil

  3. 1 clove of garlic, crushed

  4. ½ inch root ginger, crushed

  5. ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder


Method:

  1. Combine all the marinade ingredients

  2. Marinate the salmons in the marinade for 1 hour

  3. Wrap each fillet in foil paper

  4. Place on bottom tier of the ‘Happy Home’ steamer

  5. Steam for 25 mins


Serve with


Eastern potatoes


10 ozs new potatoes

1 Tablespoon vegetable oil

½ teaspoon turmeric powder

½ teaspoon chilli powder

½ teaspoon cumin powder

1 Tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves

Salt and pepper


Method:

  1. Cut potatoes into ¼ in dice

  2. Toss in all the other ingredients combined

  3. Place on liner in the upper tier of ‘Happy Home’ steamer

  4. Steam for 30 mins
