
Ingredients:
10 ozs minced pork
Spice mix: 2 Tablespoons malt vinegar
3 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 inch root ginger, crushed
1 small green chilli, finely chopped
2 teaspoon curry powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves
Egg custard: 2 medium size eggs
1 fluid oz cold water
¾ teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and pepper
Method:
1. Combine the minced pork with the spice mix
2. Form into even sized meatballs
3. Refrigerate for 20 minutes
4. Place in a foil container in a single layer
5. Place on the bottom of the ‘Happy Home’ steamer
6. Steam for 10 minutes
7. Meanwhile, combine and whisk all the egg custard ingredients
8. Open the steamer and pour this egg mixture around the meatballs
9. Cover the steamer and steam for a further 5 minutes
10.Turn off heat, keep covered and stand for a further 10 minutes
Serve with
Fried rice noodles, tossed in soy sauce
