Vietnamese Spring Rolls with Sweet Chili Sauce


8 Spring Roll Wrappers

16 Jumbo Shrimp, cooked

1 Carrot, in thin slices

1 ½ cup White Cabbage, in thin slices

½ cup Cilantro Leaves

½ cup Green Onions

Salt and Pepper

Sweet Chili Sauce


1. Open a spring roll wrapper on a flat surface and add 2 jumbo shrimp, carrot slices, white cabbage, cilantro leaves and green onions in the center, season with salt and pepper. Fold in the sides to the center and then start wrapping the spring roll up until it’s fully closed, right before closing add a little water to the rim so it’s easier to close.

2. Bring a pot of water to a boil, prepare the Happy Home Story steamer with paper wraps, place the steamer over the pot and arrange the spring rolls in the grids. Cook them for around 20 minutes or until they are soft and transparent.

3. Serve with sweet chili sauce.
